Blog Post 1

One could easily argue that the internet has become an extension of ourselves. This is because in this day and age, it almost seems impossible to function in our daily lives without it. Personally, I use the internet on a daily basis to complete schoolwork, connect with family & friends, and stay up to date with current events. In addition, I've found that the internet can be a useful tool when you need an escape from reality. With that said, a blog that I've recently discovered and frequent often is called 'Le Funny'. It is a meme blog that posts a large range of funny content. What's interesting about this particular blog is that it contains a category bar along the side so you can customize the content you want to see. For example, you can choose from categories such as 'funny ads', 'funny photoshop fails', 'funny conversations', etc. With lots of funny content being posted daily, you will be sure to find something that makes you laugh. If you want to check this blog out, here's the link: http://lefunny.net/

Enjoy!!

  1. When you mentioned how the internet has become an extension of ourselves along with your interest in memes, it made me realize how much this statement applies to myself amongst many others. My friends and I are constantly referencing memes in our conversations and have many inside jokes regarding memes as well. I even find that memes have became a bonding tool amongst meeting new people and creating new friendships. If someone I just met understands my reference to a meme, and vice versa, it feels like you just connected on a new level. It feels super ridiculous putting this into words, but it is truly a humorous internet tool that has brought many people together.

  2. I completely agree with your blog post Cass. The internet, and the technologies that come with it, have become so intertwined with the average humans day to day life that it often feels as though it is an extension of ourselves. I as well use the internet to escape reality, I find there are many accounts, people and platforms that allow me to connect with people who are dealing with similar issues that I am dealing with. I checked out the link you shared. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
